No oxtail, no pork, no chicken back, its crocodile and mongoose for meat

Portia Simpson Miller and the PNP must take responsibility for the desperation  on display among  large sections of the Jamaica population, who are now risking serious health issues, but being unable to do otherwise have resorted to eating crocodile and now mongoose.

These are signs of desperation and Jamaicans have now resorted to scavenging to remain alive as never before in our history have proud Jamaicans sunk to this level , simply to stay alive.

Years ago the mere mention of eating these meats would be meet with ” you mad or what”, now its ” time hard if it nuh kill you e mek you stronger”.

Desperate times does in fact call for desperate measures.

Thank you PNP

Thank you Portia, you have made Jamaica the laughing stock of the entire Caribbean as not even in Haiti do I believe people are eating these animals and reptiles.

Jamaicans now have begun to eat mongoose !

I predicted that as time gets tough and tougher would begin to eat stuff they would not normally eat, but when persons gets desperate anything can happen. Now we have reports of persons have begun to eat mongoose as part of their daily diets.

There is no oxtail, no pork chops, no chicken back, instead these have been replaced with crocodile and now mongoose.

It’s clear that the direction the Portia Simpson Miller is leading the country in have people resorting to desperate means simply to stay alive. Never before in our history have Jamaicans eaten these animals and really is a sign of the time.

I shudder for my dogs now as they could not become the next target of desperate and hungry Jamaicans

mongoose

Mongoose. Now on the plate on many Jamaicans.

In Trinidad they(the Indians) eat a rodent called a manicou pictured below.

Consumer and Business confidence in the management of the economy by the government evaporates

Confidence in the direction the PNP administration is taking the country is at record low, with consumer confidence only just above the record low experienced in 2003, when incidentally the PNP was in power. Business confidence is just above the all time low, which was experienced in 2009, when the JLP was in power and at the height of the global recession.

The data is suggesting that both consumer and business have virtually no confidence in the economic strategy being pursued by the Portia Simpson-Miller led administration with one business leader even calling for a renegotiation of the recently signed IMF agreement, which he said if pursued will kill any growth prospects in this Jamaica.

The survey notes that results recorded that this quarter is the second lowest level recorded in the past 12 years.

It highlights that the decline was largely due to less favourable prospects for income and jobs.

The majority of those surveyed indicated that economic conditions have worsened, jobs are scarce and hard to find and higher prices and the falling value of the Jamaican dollar are affecting their income.

The above sums up the dismal performance of this almost two year administration, which took an economy on the verge of growth and damaged it beyond repair and continues to do a hatched job on what it has not yet destroyed.

Its time for Jamaicans to wake up and smell the coffee as another 3 yrs of Portia in charge  means further deterioration of the economy and its not hard to see people eating what they have never eaten before just to stay alive.

Peter Phillips was right, when he said should Portia Simpson Miller become Prime Minister of Jamaica,  we could remove and replace Haiti at the bottom of the ladder. In less than 2 yrs we  are very very close to that point. 😦

Allowing this lame duck Prime Minister to complete her term would be a disaster

It is clear to everyone that the person in charge of the country is nothing more than a lame duck Prime Minister who desperately needs to be  graciously ushered into retirement. The PNP was democratically elected and is currently the government of Jamaica and we cannot get rid of them outside of an national election or we overthrow the government, which is not something I would necessarily support.

I would however support the removal of the current (acting)  Prime Minister of Jamaica and have that persons replaced with someone like a Peter Phillips who I believe have a much better grasps of the situation and would stand a better chance of leading this country out of its economic quagmire .

The running of the affairs of this country can no  longer be left in the hands of this lame duck Prime Minister and so I am urging the citizens of Jamaica and the members of the PNP who truly care about the country, to urge Portia Simpson-Miller to pack her bags and go now.

This two yr experiment with her as Prime Minister has been nothing but a complete disaster and the country cannot afford this experiment any longer, Portia Simpson Miller must go now .

A Prime Minister is more that cutting ribbons. being key note speaker at private functions, giving away government land and a few houses here and there and speaking on party matters.

Never again must we allow this country to be led by someone man or woman, who has no grasp of the issues, who only can read written speeches, refuses to speak with the media and refuses to speak to the people of the country.

We have paid dearly for this failed experiment and so we must now learn from our mistake and move to ensure it never happens again. Time is not on our side, the world is moving forward, no longer are we going to or can we expect to get special treatment by multilateral lending  and donor agencies, those days are long gone.

We need a Prime Minister who has a vision for the entire country.

We need a Prime Minister to do what is required to move the entire country forward and is willing to make a personal sacrifice of not being reelected if  he or she  have to make those decisions that are absolutely necessary to move the country forward

Never again must we allow the country to be led by a populist leader , because that individual  only interest will be him/herself and that of the party he or she represent., ast they try to win hearts and remain popular.

Peter Phillips must begin at this stage to make his move and seek to gain support of the grass roots comrades at Jamaicans are large, as we must ensure that Portia Simpson Miller exits the Prime Ministers position in the very near future and I mean by next year, the latest.

The end of this year would have been even better !

Who is the (acting) Prime Minister of Jamaica ?

I was talking to a friend of mine last evening and we were making the point that each time the Prime Minister leaves the country she has appointed someone , mainly Omar Davis as acting Prime Minister. What is interesting however, is we never knows when she has returned to the island, so in many cases no one knows who is the Prime Minister of Jamaica.

I do not feel Portia Simpson-Miller at all, if she is here we don’t know as we do not feel her presence and when she is a away its much the same, so it makes zero difference if she is here or not. How can we have a Prime Minister that in almost two years have spoken to the country only once. If everything was fine and dandy then that would not be a problem, but when the house is burning down, one would expect any decent and responsible Prime Minister to be constantly speaking with and reassuring the people and leading from front./

I think its high time we call on Portia Simpson -Miller to pack her bags and go and hand over the leadership of the country to Peter Phillips , I am sure he cannot do any worse than this lame duck Prime Minister.

Jamaica’s sports in turmoil, who is the minister in charge?

WADA was reported to be conducting an audit of JADCO which is the local body responsible for testing of our athletes , due to concerns raise by a former employee of the agency.

We have had more persons failing drug test in a single year that we have ever experienced, which is a signal that something is not right in the management of sports in Jamaica.

The Prime Minister happens to be the Minister with responsibility for sports and today’s Gleaner is suggesting via a release from the OPM, that an invitation was given to Wada to visit Jamaica to conduct what is being termed as an extraordinary audit.

Seems as if nothing in this country is being properly managed and is running to a wreck, while the Prime Minister hop, skip and and jump from plane to plane as she continues to run away from Jamaica’s problems and the Jamaican media.

Where are the Rare Earth Metals ?

Months ago there was a major announcement by the Minister of Announcement, Phillip Paulwell of an exciting project where Nippon would become involved in extraction rare earth metal from bauxite waste.

As usual in Jamaica we applauded this announcement, suggesting it was ground breaking and Jamaica stood to earn plenty foreign exchange.

Can anyone say what has become of this project. because right now foreign exchange is rare as the earth metal that was said to have been available.

Minister over to you sir.
