As the PNP continues to move fellow comrades into various positions in the public sector, the Jamaica Observer is now reporting that Comrade Colin Campbell of Trafigura fame has now been appointed Managing Director of the JUTC.
What strikes my about these appointments as this PNP administrations ensures that it takes care of its own, by providing them with high profile public sector jobs, is the loud silence from the once very vocal media and its commentators.
What for example makes Colin Campbell the most suited person for this job?
Did he go through the formal application and interview process as it should be done or was it for mere formality ?
I must hand it to the PNP however, as they seem capable of employing anything that is orange competent or not and one can expect the appointments to take place without the usual noise we would have become accustom to under the previous administration.
Nepotism at its brilliant best.

Interesting.
Why doesn’t the Jamaica people have a problem with this. Now I am not saying the man ” not to eat a food” because he screwed up in the past, but the vulgarity seen on display by the PNP cannot be allowed to continue.
We cannot as a nation continue to reward acts of corruption with high profile jobs in the public sector.
Ughh, this place is making me sick !
maybe we should use the ATI act to see his resume vs the resume of the others to see if he is really the best qualified
Who is taking stock. All government agencies and chairs are now being run by known activists. At one agency, a senior person was heard telling someone how him “ripening up the place.”
I am all for employing qualified and competent persons but it is a lesson for the JLP who forget their people once they get into power.
