Majority Of Jamaicans Say PNP Government Steering Country In Wrong Direction- Bill Johnson Poll

There are those on this blog who has told me off in no uncertain term, that I am a JLP apologist, I am being paid by the JLP, I am anti-PNP and saying Jay  the futilitarian, is a perennial pessimist.

I keep saying to people that the truth does not change and not speaking the truth does not make it go away. There are many however who would rather not speak the truth as according to them, they cannot speak any wrong about the party the support.

Today the Gleaner issued two reports based on polls commissioned by the Gleaner and done by noted pollster, Bill Johnson, which has all but confirmed what I have been saying on the blog for sometime now..

In this poll, Bill Johnson is reporting that a staggering 70% of those polled , which incidentally is a representative sample of the population, believes the PNP government is steering Jamaica in the wrong direction!

I am not surprised by these number as based on my own field work on the ground, I was aware that the pain and suffering that Jamaicans were undergoing, was attributed to the direction the PNP was taking the country.

I wonder if comrades are now going stop reading the Gleaner given the rather bad position the PNP now finds itself in, based on the results of this recent poll and the fact that this is presenting the performance of the PNP in a negative light.

The people are saying the PNP MUST change course, but can they do that, given that this is course that must be taken based on IMF dictates. Just a week ago the Prime Minister was saying the country is in a better place today, than it was two and a half years, but Bill Johnson recent poll has blown that myth to bits.

  1. Predictably the PNP is now blaming the IMF reforms for its poor showing at the pools, when only a week ago it was boasting of how many test it had passed.

Oh what a difference a week make.
