PNP Unions should accept the 5% offer by the government

The public sector is the single largest body in Jamaica and the most corrupt ( as a group). They are largely represented by PNP affiliated unions and have done nothing over the last 21 years of PNP rule to cut of corruption.

Leakage in the public sector is bad and with no wiggle room, the unions should tell their workers to accept the 5% and wait until the JLP is returned to power at some time in the distant future and then apply the squeeze at that point in time.

Its funny that after 5 years of wage freeze nothing much has changed in terms of the fortune of the country.

This is a testimony to the abject failure of the PNP who has been in power for 21 of these 25 years.
