The court ruling last week has been a devastating one for opposition leader Andrew Holness and leaves his leadership of the party hanging by tenderhooks.
While the JLP is now in more disarray than ever before, the PNP should call National election .
I have always said that a Andrew Holness as leader of the JLP is a sure bet we will see another 5 years of mismanagement because his prescence would assure of a PNP victory.
As much as I dread that nightmarish thought it appears now more than ever to be a reality .
This can change if Holness resign and Shaw is elevated to JLP leader.

The JLP will be in a perpetual mode of disarray and as such, the PNP will not need to call a snap election now or anytime in the future. This is a party that is not bound by any deep seated doctrine or allegiance to any core principles. That’s why there are at least three distinct camps within the JLP and they don’t like each other. They do not see the PNP as their adversary (enemy?), while the one common thread which permeates through the veins of every Comrade is a disdain for labourites. Wi nuh like them!
PSM was vilified by a subgroup of the PNP during the two Leadership Challenges, yet the PNP remained a cohesive group (at least from the outside looking in) and PSM showing her political savvy by exercising maturity and not tipping her hands one way or the others with regards to her true feeling towards her adversaries or non-supporters within her ranks. Do you notice how she effectively disarms people she comes in contact with, with her “motherly” hugs?
Why do Comrades appear so cohesive, while the JLP is always on the brink of an implosion? This can be traced back to one man and one man only?
We don’t often agree but in this case I must admit the PNP does a much better job of covering up its S#&t than the JLP.
Its often says PNP is like a cat, when it s%&t it covers it up, unlike the JLP, which like a dog, when ut s%&t it walks away and leave it for everyone to see.
Its a great pity the PNP is so poor when it comes unto managing the affairs of the country.
So we have one party that cannot get it’s s$&t together and win an election, while on the other hand we have a party that can it’s act together to win an election but runs the country like s%&t !
