Public Defender should investigate the circumstances leading to 18 babies death at public hospitals

I am calling on the Public Defender to immediately launch an investigation into the circumstances leading to the death of 18 babies at public hospitals.

The Public Defender should also investigate why the public was not informed by the Public health authorities  of this rather infectious disease afflicting the new borns, so the public could make a decision as to where thy take their kids for treatment.

This is a issue affecting the public and I think the public was wronged by the Ministry and this demands a thorough investigation by this noble office.

This matter demands an independent investigation and the findings should be made public.
