PNP goes into retreat to plan election strategy, but not how to grow the economy

The ruling PNP goes into a three day retreat in RUI Ocho Rios, to plan their election strategy as they seek to win the next elections.

Incidentally the meeting will be addressed by PNP president Portia Simpson Miller , who had not been able to speak after the furore over the prison transfer deal due to a reported case of laryngitis.

So the PNP will spend the next three days planning how to win the next election, but not how to grow the Jamaican economy and move the people from poverty to prosperity instead of poverty to prison.
