On the very day, that Sagicor donated $4m to the Ebola effort, the Minister of National Security and the inept parliament members stoutly defended spending $4m to deport Abu Bakr .
What can I say about our priorities ?
Can the government of Jamaica back the support it has received Sagicor, or will they tell us there is no money to do so?
Residents should ask their parliamentarians when they will spend another $4m to buy a second full body thermal imager and let’s here there answers.
This is the reason, why I am so upset with us as a people, when we rush to defend a position, that actually is not in the interest of the people.
Ebola is more of a threat to Jamaica, but the Jamaican government would not have forked out the $4M to bring a second machine to Kingston, given that the one by Sagicor is headed to Montego Bay.
Thumbs up to Sagicor
Thumbs down to the PNP Government !
Correction Jay. That is NOT a Thermal Imaging Machine, but in fact, an Ebola Machine!! Please get your facts straight, sir. 🙂
What is an Ebola machine? Please educate us.
Someone wrote to me telling be ”You see the government that you always a curse has received Ebola detection machines, so what you have to say now about our preparedness Mr Jay”
@ Justice.
How some unno head hard so. I asked you to explain for us, what is an Ebola machine. Instead of answering the question, you wrote a quote I had earlier posted as your answer.
Its a simple question, you said I was wrong about the name of the machine and I must get my facts right. Since you have the facst, I once again am asking you to explain for my knowledge and those who read these pages ” What is an Ebola Machine”?
Let me make it a bit easier
1. How does this machine work ie what is it’s function.
2. What is the principle of operation based on.
3. Does it test the persons and then confirm if the person has Ebola
4. What is the output ie how does it provide information to the user and in what form.
5. Are you saying this machine can tell if someone has Ebola
I am anxiously awaiting answers to the above questions and I trust that you will do “Justice” to the readers and provide those answer.
Cheers
Jay
It was a failed attempt at humor, based on the post a day earlier, where someone email you about the Ebola Detection Machine. Do you get it?
Ok now I got it.
Next time try to be a bit clearer as I often get these daily snide comments from folks who try to discredit the writer. You would however notice that I tried to avoid being disrespectful and instead asked for justification in your comments.
