PNP Councillor sidelined for giving benefits to JLP supporters ?

The PNP councillor for Port Maria and her supporters are angry today after the councillor was removed from the party’s slate of candidates for the upcoming  parish councillor elections.

The councillor has accused the Member of Parliament Dr Guy of political vicitmization. She has reported that being an outspoken and vocal person, the MP is uncomfortable with her. She also reported that the MP is upset with her for “taking care” of all the members of her divsion including those of the JLP. She reported that JLP supporters were not supposed to get anything , but she refuses to do so and instead chooses to serve the ENTIRE community.

The councillor is reporting that her refusal to provide benefits only to PNP supporters is the main reason for her ousting and the people are coming out in strong support of the councillor.

If the councillor is correct and I have no doubt she is, then it gives an insight in how the PNP has been operating and intends to operate while in power..

I am not surprised and is happy to see someone from within the party actually some forward and tell the Jamaican people what is really passing for good governance in the PNP administration.
