Where is Energy World International incorporated and registered ?

We were told, this company was registered in Hong Kong which is correct, but what we were never told and is now been revealed ( based on this document attached), the company appears to have been incorporated in the British Virgin Islands, which is a known tax haven.

What is the difference between the two if any ?

Forming a corporation entitles the business owner to protections against the public from suing the business owner for personal assets. . Business registration is not a form of incorporation, and it doesn’t often provide any protection of personal assets. The purpose of registering a business is to obtain a business license, which may be required by regional laws, in order to conduct business.

Business registration is the process by which business owners can obtain licenses to operate a business in the region. Incorporated businesses must often obtain a business license, but a registered business does not have to be incorporated. Most businesses need to register in order to operate, but there are exceptions.

Company’s incorporated in this area do not need to produce audited financial statements, hence the reason EWI could not present to the OUR an audited financial statement by a reputable auditing firm.

Take this note from the attached document

EWI is a company incorporated in the British Virgin Islands. PEA is a company
registered in Australia and listed by Australian Stock Exchange Limited.

These raises even more questions about Energy World International and disclosure !

Reading the actual document, makes you want to wonder if Phillip Paulwell made the changes or EWI made the changes then sent the document for Paulwell to sign.
