PNP “Crucifies” Jamaicans one day before Good Friday with multi billion tax package!

The mendacious PNP lead by the Finance Minister just a few months ago indicated that there would have been no new taxes, but instead we can expect to see tax reforms being used to generate increased revenues.

I could have said right then and I think I did , that we should all hold our celebrations, knowing how the PNP operates as a government, lying all the way as they seek to keep the people of Jamaica poor while maintaining a strangle hold on power.

There is no doubt in my mind that the PNP takes Jamaicans for idiots and as a people we have acted like idiots , which explains the reason why these guys continues to feed us bullshit which we accept with glee.

Given the tough economic challenges being faced by so many Jamaicans, how can one explain the present government demanding another $6.7B from an economy that is not growing  and has not grown by any significant numbers in a very very long time.

Given Jamaicans vociferous position on the increased rate request being asked by the JPS, can we expect to hear these voices over the next few days as we tell this uncaring and unconscionable government, that we are already at the breaking point and simply cannot take any more taxes.

This is the punishment Jamaicans must bear for being foolish in their decision making process and I certainly we learn from our mistakes, though I seriously doubt it will change over foolish ways !
