Agriculture Minister Roger Clarke say his ministry is looking at the possibility of using unmanned drones man the country’s fisheries resources and combat illegal fishing by foreign poachers.
Sometimes as I listen to these minister’s I can only say what on earth are they guys thinking, is it that they go to bed and then wake up with some fantasy and then speak about it. We can barely find a way to slow down farms thieves in Jamaica, we cannot prevent trucks from using heavy-duty equipment to mine sand from rivers and our beaches, but we believe we can use drones to protect our fishing resources.
