This afternoon it was announced that the $700m previously awarded to a firm, that was barred from receiving government contract, has been award to Chin’s Construction .
Now Chin’s Construction is part owned by Rodney Chin, who was previously accused of partnering with Kern Spencer to defraud the people of Jamaican our of millions of dollars in what is now called the Cuban light bulb scandal. Chin has however since turned prosecution witness and all charges against him have been dropped.
