The Gleaner today reported that a recent poll completed by Johnson Survey Research Limited, has indicated that approx 75% of those polled were pessimistic about the direction the country was headed under the PNP administration , particularly in the area of crime and unemployment.
75% of the folks polled indicated that their personal economic situation has worsened under the Portia Miller led PNP administration.
Interestingly only 1% of those polled thought their economic situation had seen a significant improvement.
The damning revelations confirms what myself and many objectives bloggers have been saying here all along , despite the fact that many sympathizers of the ruling party continues to bury their heads in the sand as they continue to live in denial.
The PNP came to power riding on the backs of poor people, saying they will get a better deal, than the failed one under the JLP and promised hope for the tens of thousands of poor Jamaicans, however as can be seen ,they have failed miserably in their ability to deliver to the poor or anyone for that matter in Jamaica.
In a country where only 1% of the population believes there economic situation has improved, leaves one to no doubt question the competence of the Prime Minister and her cabinet.
One should also recognize that this poll like many others comes with a +/- 3 margin of error, which on the low side could mean no one believes their situation has improved to a 4% believing their has been some improvement.
This is an indictment on the Prime Minister and her team.
Jamaicans dreams have become a nightmare under the PNP. I recall that Portia Simpson Miller saying ” I will be your worst nightmare” and so she has.
When will we learn.
