Its been almost two weeks now since news first emerged of a high ranking JLP official who pulled a gun on a man, allegedly over of all things a woman.
We were told a file has been prepared and sent to the DPP for a ruling.
What the JCF as well as the media have both failed to provide thus far is the name of the person in question.
Why do we continue to create this class divide in the country?
It is this type of behaviour that sows the seed of discontent and the appearance of “no justice” for those from the lower economic strata of the country or those with “no name”.
The lazy Jamaican media, rather that going deep to find out who this is and publish the incident without accusation is simply sitting by and waiting for the bias JCF to feed them with that information.
The politician in question should NOT be protected, instead his name should be made public forthwith.
Its no wonder people in Jamaican continues to lament the fact that there appears to be two Jamaica.
The Kern Spencer fiasco is the same, that crook should already have been behind bars and have served 6 yrs out of a 10yr sentence along with being banned permanently from public office.
