It is time of the year again, when we all take a break from the hustle and bustle to relax with our families and closest friends. Commonsenseja would like to take time to thank you all for your comments, your support and for simply reading articles and comments on the blog. At this time of the year , I would like to express warmest wishes to you and your families.
It has been a very difficult year, but despite that, we are still hearing and for that we must give thanks. We should also take the time to reach out to the less fortunate amongst us and give a helping hand in any way we can, as this is the season for giving.
Wishing you all a blessed and peaceful holidays and hope you will all have a prosperous 2014 when it comes along.

Merry Christmas to all.
Mr. Ksmith you do not know what you are talking about. So, I am going to tell you about myself. During my holidays, I do not party, instead I study and review exams and when I study I do so for many hours. In addition, visiting academic websites is one of my major past times. Not only, do I pay attention to my official studies, but when I have free time on my hands, I read a wide variety of policy papers from developed countries, like Australia, Finland, Denmark, New Zealand etc. The purpose of this is to test the viability of future policies for Jamaica and to moderate some of my initiatives. Furthermore, I was also involved in several extra-curricular activities at my former high school. KsMITH, it is your view that students should not be concerned with politics, but clearly you do not know that my interest in a wide variety of subjects has given me the opportunity to be a better student. Ksmith, I am able to spend a lot of time lobbying for various policies on radio and in the newspapers, because I read way ahead and I never miss school. During my period in high school, I only missed school twice. Let me give you some more information about myself and my studying techniques
While being a mere toddler in basic school, by the time I was five I was doing research on Garvey and other historical figures. By the time I was eight I was reading Pan Africanism. Now let me show you how I study and paid attention to non related school work,
In grade 7, I did my formal studies along with researching entrepreneurship and entrepreneurs in America
In grade 8, my research topic for the year was European Nobility
In grade 9, the topic was West African Politics with a focus on Nigeria, particularly its dictators
In grade 10, my interest was the humanities including sociology and economics
In grade 11, I did a bit of International Relations
In grade 12, developmental economics became a major interest
In grade 13, I studied extensively the reasons for growth and prosperity in Asia, Australia and Scandinavia, with a focus on science and technology
I do engage in extra-curricular activities. Ksmith, I did well in school, I don’t like to talk about myself but you forced me to. I research and study at the same time. I do not fear predators because most people assume that I am an adult

Goodness. You really do need to refocus yourself.
By the way, I didn’t force you to divulge anything. If you had any kind of sufficient self-esteem you wouldn’t see the need to justify yourself to some random stranger across cyberspace. And if you had any common sense you would NOT have written what you did (twice!) and would not be using your full name and leaving your email address as some kind of signature in some of your posts.
I hope the owner of this blog has enough common sense (and sense of responsibility) to help you realize this and perhaps to delete the personal info you keep putting up. Even if you were going to waste the time yabbering about things with which you clearly have never had any kind of personal experience, at the very least the owner of this blog should be encouraging you to protect your identity.
Anyway, as before; til you get the requisite life experience, don’t bother trying to engage in any conversation with me. Unlike the other jokers who have posted on this blog I do NOT entertain young children in online discussions. Especially children who are only a few clicks/keystrokes away from appearing on Ananda Alert because they aren’t even trying to protect their identity.
I didn’t divulge anything. You know nothing about me, you only know some of the stuff I read. I am a very secretive person, even my close colleagues do not know my birthday.
Go look up the word “divulge” as part of your next school assignment.
You will find that telling someone (ANYONE) information that was previously not known by that person is called “divulging”.
You even said “I don’t like to talk about myself but…” which means you did divulge information about yourself. Information which was previously unknown including information on which grades you are obviously no longer in (which gives strong hints to anyone so inclined to track down children off the internet)
So while you pretend to NOT have divulged anything, keep in mind that you gave out info. And all personal information is a clue which someone else can use to find the information that really matters (like your address; your birthday is actually irrelevant). Also note that even negligent fools like Marmac don’t actually use their names. You have zero idea who Mamac, Wayne Jr or Anonymous actually is. Sam Sharpe is very like a moniker used by someone in admiration of Samuel Sharpe and you don’t have enough info related to my user name to make anything but the barest of guesses as to what my full name even is.
So, go study the stuff that will make you a better adult (a dictionary would be a very good place to start) because right now you are on course to be an intellectual idiot. You know lots of facts, but don’t seem to know the meaning of basic words and have zero experience to relate the facts to in order to make a truly informed judgement.
OK folks, we are all birds of a feather. Like it or not, we are all a bunch of ‘weirdo’s”. people who come on a site like this and post in Christmas. Normally we usually can only see the weirdness in others.
We all have our biases, and the thing that I like also is the thing that I dislike about this blog. here things are spoken that are not usually in mainstream media. Which is a good thing.
The bias that everybody sometimes display here is a bad thing. Lipton may be smart, but he has fallen into the bias that Jay and others have into being anti PNP, so for all his articles, it betrays a lack of balance, twisting/ignoring of facts that has impede his reasoning process.
This goes for a lot of persons, we can learn from each other, hopefully others will learn respect, and a sense of balance so that we can elevate the level of reasoning than emanates from a blog like this.
Balance does not mean agreement, It means fairness and give credit where it is due and cussing where it is due.

Spamming by the way people is something very similar to the modus operandi of “lobbyists”. Spammers and lobbyists are birds of a feather. 😉

Because I distinctly remember telling to stop engaging me because you are a student who should go garner some life experience. Yet it seems yuh head tuffer dan di hardest set concrete (maybe dat’s why jay like you so much; you and him have dat in common). Either dat or you have a reading comprehension problem. As after making it perfectly clear to anyone who wasn’t a retard what my position was; you come back chatting crap trying to justify yourself to some elder who you’ve never met, will never meet and who has made it quite clear he doesn’t give a crap about you other than the fact that for your own good that you should engage in something far more important to a person at your level of development (that is become wiser through studying school subjects and wiser through personal interactions with other young people, especially women from your age group and that you should treat them right, especially if one of them becomes your girlfriend).
But you seem to like being told to bug off for some reason because yuh always trying to talk to someone (i.e. me) who has ZERO interest in discussing things with a person who has NO real life experience about the stuff he is actually writing about (i.e. you).

Bro, you need to go check this thread from the start. Whatever that young “smart” boy may be, the simple fact is he doesn’t even know how to say Merry Christmas. Or at least his parents and guardians didn’t teach him a time and a place for everything. So sad. A thread about Christmas. I wish everyone a Merry Christmas in the spirit of the thread. And den dis young “lobbyist” come on here with him spam, and not even the good kind that we could probably cook as a substitute for a whole ham if we didn’t have the money! 😉

That’s what I’ve been trying to get the young fool to do, but he seems to have a difficulty comprehending the written word. Much like yourself I suppose since you seem not to understand some of the basic concepts I wrote about in a few of the other posts.
Interesting, Lipton is into publicity. he is a guest on ‘Straight up” on Newstalk today ( right now) Jetty Small program.
I am not interested in publicity. If I had such an interest then I would be very popular on various websites and I would give you guys information about the various events in my life. For example, If I wanted you to know that I was going to be a guest on Straight Up, I would have told you. I have been on the show before. People read my letters and if they like them, then I am asked to appear on their shows.
