The Prime Minister of Jamaica finally responded to her critics in an unscripted television interview with a CVM report last evening, where she was handing over “free” houses to her constituents in Majesty Gardens. (Just in time for Christmas)
She told the reporter ” You are not hearing from me because we are busy trying to come up with a plan to solve this crime problem. This is a very difficult thing as many crimes are hard to prevent and solve.”
She went unto to bemoan the fact that criminal elements are running amok killing women, the old and even children in their reign of terror. She promised however that plans are being worked on to stem the blood shed.
So the PNP has gone from a party in 2010 with a solid crime plan to one now , where there is an absence of a crime plan for Jamaica.
Jamaicans can therefore be rest assured that many more are likely to die before we hear from the Prime Minister and her National Security Minister on a new crime plan.
Yes Madam PM you and your government are absolutely clueless as what is required to solve our crime problems, despite the fact that you would have had a total 21yrs over the last 25 yrs to come up with a credible and long-term plan.
The PNP has been a huge disappointment for those who care about the country and who wants to see an end to criminality, but at the same time it’e been a blessing for those who benefits from the proceeds of crime.

So the Prime Ministers silence is so she can find solutions, WTF I thought they had all the solutions !
What a backward country, we elect people who tells us they have the solution and after two years when we ask for an update, we hear well we are trying to find a solution.
Portia and her team should refund all the taxpayers money they have collected as salaries thus far.
Different crime strategies are to be used. If one is not working, you change it. Then you change the person.
PM and even national security ministers should NOT be speaking on operational matters. leave that to the commissioner of police.
Peter Bunting a talk about arresting people by weekend wtf !!. Why a minister of national security a speak on operational matters. Suppose the suspects take the cue and fly out .
The PNP plan I suppose will be to change the commissioner of police. I too wondered why the Minister would be speaking about arresting anyone by weekend.
I guess he feels under tremendous pressure so he wants to say something.
The problem is we have not heard of any crime plan at all so I cannot say its not working and another strategy is being looked at.
Bunting needs to go now!
Man has skills that can be used in commerce where Anthony Hylton is just short of “dead”.

yes, we can fire the Commish if he does not deliver. he deals with operational matters. JFJ call was not unwarranted.
The commish can then speaks to the strategies and why they are not working
We all knew that they had no plans. They just wanted the power which we so quickly gave to them. So now we are reaping the seeds of this monster that were sown and strategically placed during their previous reign.
Hrmp…..We? To whom are you referring to when you use such a catchall pronoun? I’m sure you did not or had ever voted for the PNP, so the use of the word in this case is really an oxy-moron, with special emphasis on the latter half of the blend!
