The local police today launched simultaneous raids across five parishes including Kingston, where a law office in downtown Kingston was raid for close to 11 hours.
What was interesting is we observed via CVM news boxes marked ” USA Dept of Homeland Security” where lots of files were load into these boxes and carted away by the police. This has raised speculation that this raid was supervised by members of the USA State Department and USA Marshals who are present in Jamaica.
We have been told this raid today was a result of months of investigation into a major money laundering scheme being facilitated by at least one Jamaican lawyer.
The way the raid was done shows very strong sign of USA intervention.
I always wondered how come our cops have never been able to launch similar surgical simultaneous strikes on the criminal enclaves across Jamaica from where criminals elements continue to operate their murderous rampage.
Peter Bunting how can the USA assist us in fighting murder similar to how it appears they have provided us help to ensure that USA funds are not being illegally transferred to Jamaica.
