Lord, I pray for divine intervention come the next election

We cannot overthrow the government, but we can state our displeasure with how they are leading the country.

I hope that the poor, the near poor and the soon to be poor have taken a very close at the stewardship of this present administration. I hope they would have seen the number of reject comrades who have been offered positions in government entities ahead of more suitably qualified persons.

I hope they would have witness the gross disrespect being show to the country by the Prime Minister and her cabinet and the frequency with which the entire  team have been flying all over the globe at our expense.

I hope they would have witness the bad state of the economy and the rising crime as the hapless minister looks on scratching is bald head trying to figure out if we have a Dudus #2 or what.

I hope that as faith would have it, the people would recognize that those who say ” trust me I have your interest at heart”, really only are interested in themselves and have moved to ensure they benefit from the system and not the poor who they claim to protect.

I hope that we have divine intervention come next election and in so doing  the people will make better choices as to whom should be leading the country to recovery.
