Promises made by Dookeran are meaning less say Trinidad National Security Minister

I said before the start of the two meetings between AJ Nicholson and Dookeran out of  Trinidad, that this meeting would be a grand waste of time and would simply boil down to be a grand PR event and so  it was.

News coming out of Trinidad this morning, was that Dookeran was in no position to agree to anything and it appears all that stuff may not be worth the paper it was written on, but I am not surprised, the PNP is always about blowing  smoke up the collective a$$es of Jamaicans making them believe they are doing something, when really not a damn thing is happening.

This is what is being reported in the  Guardian this morning

“All immigration officers have been advised to adhere to regulations of the Immigration Act Chapter 18:01 and there would be no change to that unless through the National Security Council. “Immigration officers will continue to perform their duty by thoroughly verifying all persons to ensure they meet the full requirements, and if they do not meet those requirements, they would not be allowed entry into T&T. It’s as simple as that.”

National Security Minister Gary Griffith yesterday knocked his colleague, Foreign Affairs Minister Winston Dookeran, for making promises on travel between T&T and Jamaica with that country’s foreign minister, AJ Nicholson, without first consulting him.
