Dookeran he was not in Jamaica to appease but to find solutions to what could balloon into a trade war. “The Government of Trinidad and Tobago is willing to work out a solution.”
What does AJ Nicholson plan to get out of this meeting, when the Prime Minister of Trinidad says the immigration officials did nothing wrong and the Foreign Minister says ” I am not here to appease”.
It will be very be very interesting to hear the outcome of this meeting from both foreign ministers, honestly I don’t think AJ Nicholson will be able to make much impact. The treaties are already in place and are being violated, so what will this meeting bring?
The Trinidadians accepted this meeting simply out of courtesy, nothing else.
