Portia refuses to answer questions and journalist roughed up be her security personnel !

Portia Simpson Miller  continues to dodge the media as she continues her refusal to respond to questions from journalist on the people’s business.

The Jamaica people appears to be comfortable with the position take by the Prime Minister and appears to have accepted that this is the new way to govern in Jamaica.

I cannot recall in recent memory a single Prime Minister who has been able to dodge the media on such a consistent basis, while at the same time refusing to speak to the people of Jamaica on the nation’s business.

Civil society appears to also accept this new style of governance, which is very disturbing at best and grossly disrespectful at worst.

This Prime Minister who was never media shy while in opposition and appearing before the camera every week, now appears to have a deep-seated phobia  for the Jamaican media and I am really wondering how much longer this utter nonsense is going to continue.
