The Richard Azan appointment is nothing short of treachery and if allowed to stand, will cement the PNP position and that of Jamaica as one of the most corruption organization ever formed and the later as one of the most corrupt countries on the planet
Yesterday was another day of shame for Jamaica and our Prime Minster was quoted as saying ” I am happy to endorse corruption”, but virtue of her saying “ I am happy to reappoint Richard Azan to his former position”
Let me jog readers memory a bit on what Richard Azan had to say on this issue a few months ago, when asked if he felt what he did for the market vendors was wrong.
“They are in a better place today, and if I was politically corrupt in doing that, I don’t mind it,” Azan said.
Those are NOT my words, those are the words of Richard Azan the state Minister in the Ministry of Transport and Works.
The above quote means Richard Azan does not believe what he did was wrong, he has no regrets for doing it and if a similar situation should arise in th future, he would do it all over again.
Are these the kind of leaders, that Jamaicans want to lead us into the future?
Jamaica’s international reputation has now suffered another massive blow, by the thoughtless action of the Prime Minister.
PNP has no shame !
