Former Opposition Senator Arthur Williams has issued a statement suggesting that the Opposition Leader employed strategy to secure his resignation from the Upper House.
However, in the release, Williams said upon appointment to the Senate, Holness had asked that seven of the eight Opposition senators sign undated resignation letters as well as a letter authorising him to date and submit them to the Governor General under a certain condition.

Authur Williams was on his way their when he got the call to say, he had resigned.

This is the “soft” Andrew at play. This you call deadly. His supporters nyam nuff food outa Audley and Tufton pot last weekend and turn round deck out in Andrew shirt Sunday and returned him as leader. Now this!!! I wont go down the “ethical” road as ALL have sinned and come short. But damn!!! dis cold!!!
This is what happens when you accept “bullshit”! That type of agreement should have been made public from the outset. What is readily apparent from this is the insecurity of Holness. I am disappointed that someone of the calibre of Tufton would fall for such crap!!
