The Minister of Agriculture recent met with peanut farmers, who were complaining about the glut on the market and their inability to get rid of the peanuts they have on hand. The Minister, the Hon Roger Clarke advised the farmers that in order to solve their problem, they need to plant even more peanuts!
The Minister said by plant more, they will be able to lower their cost and sell more and thus will make more money.
One farmer left the meeting and complained ” A wah kinda ediat ting dat, if we caan sell weh wi plant and a reap now, how we fi go increase we production, nuh madness dat”.
Roger Clarke continues to put on display, just how clueless he is and seems set to once again destroy the agricultural sector, much like he did leading up to 2007.
