JLP General Secretary calls the election for Andrew Holness

In what can only be described as very strange in many circles, General Secretary of the JLP ( or should I say of Team Holness) has called the up coming elections for leadership of the JLP for Andrew Holness. In an interview on Nationwide last evening, Dr Horace Chang,  predicted that Andrew Holness will safely win Area Council one and two and a possibly four, with Shaw taking Area Council 3

Area council 4 incidentally is chaired by Dr Christopher Tufton and Dr Chang is predicting that Shaw has virtually lost that area council, giving Team Holness that area come this weekend. He said the delegates in this area are not fond of Chris Tufton and so has now thrown their support behind Holness.

Dr Christopher Tufton has however fired back and has called for Dr Horace Chang to step aside, given that his slip is showing, having now virtually confirmed which side he is on and showing he is not an impartial and independent person in this race.

Dr Tufton stopped jusat short of accusing  Dr Chang and the party secretariat of rigging the delegates list to support Andrew Holness, thus giving him a good chance of winning the upcoming elections.

Only time will tell.
