Person walking along Marcus Garvey Drive in the vicinity of the entrance to Majesty Gardens ( Back to) and those walking along the Spanishtown rd entrance to Majesty Gardens are being warned to be on high alert after a spate of armed robberies , which took place this morning.
There was/is supposed to have been a police post in Majesty Gardens, so what has become of that, can the police commissioner of the Minister of National Security respond to this.
In one report made at the Hunts Bay police station a female was seen with bruises to the elbows, knees, toes and face as she fought and held unto her bag as she was being dragged on the ground by armed thugs who were attempting to relieve her of her bag. She held unto the bag and the guys ran away leaving her nursing cuts and bruises and had to seek medical attention.
Mr Hewitt that very unfortunate statement you made today at the Hunts Bay police station was really worrying given the increase crime rate in your division sir. I truly believe you ought to have not said what you did even if you truly believe what you said was true.
I would like to know what the police are going to do about the growing problem in Majesty Gardens and the risk it poses to honest and hard working Jamaicans.
People not only have to contend with the mass of windshield wipers at “work” right in front of the station and their crude behaviour, now people have to now deal with the increased level of robbery in the area.
