I get the feeling that Anne Shirley attention seeking posture needs more than a cursory evaluation. I think she needs to be taken through a complete set of psychological evaluation to check her mental state as obviously something does not appear to to be right with this woman.
She wants to be heard, she wants to be seen, she has this need to want to be important and if that does not happen she appears to get into a tantrum. That for me signals that something is not right upstairs and she need to seek medical attention before she does herself and Jamaica further damage.
Now, she is free to speak to whomsoever she wants to as everyone has the right to freedom of speech, but when her expressions are seen as those coming from someone with authority, we are setting up ourselves for real problems.
I am not suggesting that we shut her up, instead I am suggesting that Jadco speak up and stop hiding like a scared rabbit refusing to answer basic questions and provide answers when such requests are made.
If the chairman of Jadco, Dr Elliott continues to remain silent,t he should be removed forthwith, because we simply cannot have one persons embarking on a crusade designed to bring attention to themselves, but which could tear up our credibility on the international scene.
Jadco should either wake up or the entire board should be fired with immediate effect, we cannot allow this situation to go on any further.

For my bloggers out there, what did Minister Natalie Neita-Headley, say a few minutes ago about Anne Shirley. I just heard she made some rather disturbing remarks about Anne, but I am not sure of what was really said.

If we drop the “s” from she, I above descriptors would be an apt description of Jay.

Hmmmm…you can say that again….I have said the same thing about YOU. Your blog is littered with the evidence to support my conclusion.
Your hypocrisy is self-evident in this thread. When it comes to sports, especially athletics, we tend to lose all sense of decency. Renee Anne Shirley knows the ins and outs of JACO and she has all the data at her disposal to make whatever public statement she sees fit. She knows where all the skeletons lie within “Jamaican’s Atheltic Closet”. The recent decision to level a warning against Veronica Campbell-Brown, instead of the customary 2-year ban, is but of of the many breakdowns and double standard that afflicts JACO. The other is the decision to subject Jamaican athletes to only to urine tests, when in reality, blood-testing is the only way to detect the presence of human growth hormone. For the sake of transparency, I’m one of the few Jamaicans that believes that doping among our athletes are prevalent and systemic.
Reading your attack on Ms. Shirley, you stop short of calling her an “Enemy of the State”. Had she come out lambasting the current government of Jamaica and specifically, the PnP, you would be heaping praise on her for being a patriotic Jamaican. Jay, your skirt is showing and your hypocrisy is undoubtingly, at an all time high. Such pretense will certainly see some form of challenge coming from my direction.
because we simply cannot have one persons embarking on a crusade designed to bring attention to themselves, but which could tear up our credibility on the international scene.
Heh heh heh…. Since when have you become concerned about our credibility on the international scene? Did it just start a day ago? Thanks to you, the world has Jamaicans as mongoose-crocodile-cat-dog-donkey-eating people, who sheep-ishly elect a comatose Prime Minister, mainly based on the untested dog-ma. 😀
Two year ban is crap. Shelly failed a drug test and was handed a 3 months ban, so there is no mandatory 2 yr ban.
Firstly VCB declared the substance she was taking before it should up on the test and hence even though its a prohibitive substance that would be taken into consideration by both WADA and JADCO.
Natalie Neita-Headley was on record yesterday saying ” Anne Shirley was tested and she has mental issues.
Is a comrade say so, well not just a ordinary comrade, no sah a state Minister. What can I say. If a comrade in such a high position say so, then it must be true.
Two year ban is crap. Shelly failed a drug test and was handed a 3 months ban, so there is no mandatory 2 yr ban.
Huh? So you are using one JADCO misstep to refute another? There seem to be a double standard in the application of the rules as it applies to our top athletes. Our A-list athletes receive a slap on the wrist for doping infractions, while our second tiered athletes receive automatic 2 yr ban. Surely, you have now realized that your statement only supports what Ms. Shirley has been saying all along and the need to bring some form of parity to our testing regime and the subsequent penalties for infractions when they occur.
Firstly VCB declared the substance she was taking before it should up on the test and hence even though its a prohibitive substance that would be taken into consideration by both WADA and JADCO.
I see. So the way around doping or the use of masking agent is simply to declare their use before testing. I gotcha! To be certain I’m understanding you correctly, the mere declaration of the fact that you used a form of steroids for example, is to make that known before submitting to testing and then you are off the hook?
Natalie Neita-Headley was on record yesterday saying ” Anne Shirley was tested and she has mental issues.
Hmm, not aware that the results of any form of psychiatric evaluation would be made known to Natalie Neita-Headley due to privacy laws and even more shocking is the fact that she would make those results known to the public. Could you double check your facts please. Apparently you were seeking confirmation via your first post of the thread, are you now confirming that Neita-Headley did indeed say what you attribute to her or you are just fabricating these allegations (a pattern of behavior that is repeated many times on this blog) to discredit Anne Shirley? When you start quoting Comrades to support your position, we should immediately start hearing alarm bells going off.
Can someone help Test here, he seems not to be so up to date with the latest happenings in Jamaican.
Not sure how he keeps missing important stuff then try to challenge Jay on it. Test go check and you will find the info on what the sports minister said or are you too lazy to do that.

I think you have mental head issues, you need to get “Tested”. Hahaha
Took your suggestion and got tested and the results are in. The Doctor said I was suffering from a bad case of Labouritis (I will elaborate on the symptoms, etc., at a later date), Apparently it is very common these days, almost reaching epidemic proportions. I asked the Doc if there is any cure, but he said no, but it can be managed over time if I follow a strict regimen. I further inquiry about what that regimen might entail and he said I MUST stay away from Labourite-leaning blogs at all cost. Funny enough, your blog was the one he specifically named as a hazard to my mental health. He said it is nothing close to being common sense oriented. He asks me how many computer monitors I have destroyed in the last 6-months while reading “Warren’s Blog”. I told him four. From this he concluded I have only a mild case of Labouritis.
With much regret, I will have to take a hiatus from “Warren’s Blog” for at least six months…Doctor’s orders.
Thank you Doc. Enjoy your sojourn overseas.
Why is Anne Shirley doing what she is doing? Being a little “touched” myself I don’t want to judge her and I have no evidence that she has gone off the reservation, but I would like to know her motive.

Don’t start popping that champagne just yet or start dancing on table tops and shouting repeatingly…. Test is gone!!! Guess what I’m back, turns out the Doc doesn’t know what the hell he was saying. Yes Chucks, you still have Comrade Test to deal with for a little longer.
I know you have been lobbying Jay behind the scenes to ban me from the blog for sometime, but Jay isn’t listening to you. Is it the Cash Plus/Olint comments that I made some time ago that ticked you off? Or is it that you just don’t like confident Comrades who are proud of being affliated with a great party of intellectuals, progress and having the best interest of ALL Jamaicans at heart. Looking forward to your abbreviated comment (a single sentence with no more than 7 words…I think that is your limit). 🙄
I think you meant to say no progress. Comrades know only how to wreck things not build anything.
PNP is bad for Jamaica and until they are kept out of power for at least 10yrs, Jamaica will never move forward.
What a horrible party, I cannot believe I was ever a part of this institution, but I am happy I saw the light .
