Jamaicans and Haiti have found themselves in the very same boat literally
The United States Coast Guard said that at least four people died and 11 more were rescued after a power boat reportedly carrying Haitian and Jamaican migrants capsized off Miami today.

As the economic conditions continue to deteriorate under the mismanagement of the affairs of the country by current administration, Jamaicans are not only eating all kind of meat, they are now risking their lives at sea , taking boats to escape the harsh reality in Jamaica.
Escaping one’s country by boat was made famous by Cuban and Haitians but not Jamaicans, with the few who have ventured this route being druggist and deportees trying to get back into the USA. That has now changed as more and more are using the sea to escape the economic tsunami brought on by this PNP administration.
Never before in modern Jamaica have I seen this level of desperation among Jamaicans many of whom are at the lowest point of their lives, ever.
The PNP administration must take responsibility for what is currently taking place in the country and take immediate steps to correct what has now become a national emergency .
Can Portia Simpson Miller her team lead Jamaica out of what has now become her ” worst nightmare”?

Lets put that to the TEST. Provide one iota of proof that the average Jamaican (non-deportees and or non-druggists) are using the sea as a means of entering overseas territories? I dare you, in fact, I double dare you to provide a single source of credible evidence that would support the statement quoted above. Your irresponsible behavior knows no bounds. I will ignore the mongoose rubbish, but to piggyback on the tragic events of that capsized boat off the coast of Miami (where four women lost their lives) to score political points is beyond reprehensible. I predict that you will simply ignore this post as you have done others where you are backed into a indefensible position, since you have zero evidence to support your malicious intent and concocted bullshit. How low can you go by creating events out of thin air? I guess not low enough…….Shame on you Jay.
I know many cases of persons who in the most recent times are now in the USA via boats.
Many have left the island via the shores of St Thomas and Portland.
Many more are lining up to go having seen others have arrived safely.
Just ask around and in less than 5 mins you can find out for yourself.
Then I challenge you to report back to this blog on your findings and be honest about it.
Sent from my BlackBerry® wireless device from LIME.
Uh-oh!! Many cases? 10, 100s, 1000s? Have you personally witnessed any of these departures from our shores or is this purely hearsay? Are these criminals, non-criminals or a mixture of both? Sending me off on some wild-goose chase to canvass the few is pointless. I might report back a few duppy stories though, something I know will tickle your fancy. I guess no credible data source is forthcoming, eh?
You know, I think you are mixing up these Haitians who lack basic navigational skills and blindly ending up on the shores of Portland and St. Thomas, thinking they have landed in the US. Having realized the errors of the ways, after being extorted by the Fishermen from out East, quickly re-embark on the northernly journey.
Dude, I think you are consuming too much of that (rabies) mongoose meat. The side effects are showing big time.
Just in case you missed my first report on this.

Just in case you missed the fact that I was the first person to respond to that thread, I suggest you read my comments again! 😀
I think you should read it again. First you said it was used mainly by deportee, then you went unto say you know many Jamaicans who went this route. hhm.
Maybe this is the route you too used to get into the USA
More details on this rather tragic incident.

……..BTW, Jamaicans have being using the Bahamas as a gateway to enter the US from as far back as the late 1970′s. I know people who were charge US$10K a head to facilitate this approach back in the 1980′s, some using boats as a means of ferrying their “cargo” into the US.……
Jay, I put reposted the comment I made back then. Where was the word “many” used by me? The two statements are not contradictory as you seem to imply. I think the only conclusion you can make from my comments is that I know “some” deportees. Again logically thinking is just not one of your strong suits…..hahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Maybe this is the route you too used to get into the USA Now you are being juvenile in your response. Quite expectedly, considering you are always at the losing end of any debate on your own blog so you always lashed out with imbecilic statements like the one highlighted. 😀
Lose, well let’s examine what you just said.
You know some deportee, how many do you know personally, one, two, ten, how many?
I never knew we were in a competition, but one thing I know is once persons start delcaring themselve winners it’s not a good sign.
In most cases its denial. I think you need to change your doctor because whatever he is giving you is causing hallucinations.
I have a good green doctor I could recommend to you and I know once he is done and you begin to process things better, you too will run from the PNP like Bolt runs towards the finishing line.
🙂
I see. So is it the same GREEN doctor you went to some years ago to transform from a so-call Comrade into the little GREEN giant you are today? No sah, no GREEN Doctor for me. Little more he injects mi with a green substance, causing an embolism that travels to my brain causing the same irreversible brain-damaged similar to the one you suffered years ago? No Way José!. We can all see first hand what the long term impact of that poor choice of yours. I will learn from your mistake.
Test check out the comments.

Hahahhaha
“Little” Jay conveniently failed to post this since it contradict one of his many falsehoods and of course supports what I have always maintained about. Jamaican deported criminals are the ones using the
high seas as a means of re-entry into the USA. It appears all the Jamaicans onboard were deportees. Knowing Jay, he will stick to his guns, knowing full well his guns have only useless BLANKS and is incapable of firing real ammunition. Fire away Jay, I can withstand any blanks aimed in my direction!
Jamaican Man Charged With Bahamian In Ill-
Fated Miami Boat Incident
United States law enforcement authorities have file criminal charges against a Jamaican man on the ill-fated boat that capsized off the coast of Miami over a week ago, killing four Haitian women.
He has been identified as 38-year-old George Lewis, who federal authorities say was previously deported from the US.
According to a 24-count grand jury indictment unsealed in Florida, Lewis and the captain of the vessel, 53-year-old Bahamian national Naaman Davis, have been charged with conspiring to smuggle migrants into the US and causing their deaths.
If convicted, the men could face the death penalty or life in prison.
The four Haitian women drowned after their overcrowded smuggling boat capsized in waters off Miami 10 days ago.
