Twenty Jamaicans denied entry to T&T and to be sent back to Jamaica

Twenty Jamaican nationals who  were denied entry to Trinidad and Tobago yesterday, and were detained  at the Piarco Intl Airport by Trinidadian immigration officials  are to be flown back to Jamaica today.

This comes less than one week after the ruling by the CCJ that Caricom Nationals must only be denied entry to Caricom states for two reasons and that any national detained should be allowed to speak to family member or representative of the consulate for the Caricom National in questions.

Mr AJ Nicholson over to you sir and please ensure we have a speedy investigation into this one. Just over a week ago nineteen Jamaicans were also denied entry into Trinidad and flown back to Jamaica after being held for a number of days.

Why is the Jamaican government no representing its nationals oversees.

This is one reason why I will not support the CCJ, Jamaica has no voice !
