PNP Cabinet ministers turn out to support criminality !

Surrounded by a rowdy group of People’s National Party (PNP) supporters, embattled Mayor of May Pen, Scean Barnswell, was yesterday briskly whisked away from the Half-Way Tree Resident Magistrate’s Court, where he had gone to answer to charges of breach of the Contractor General Act.

State minister in the Ministry of Finance and North Clarendon Member of Parliament (MP), Horace Dalley, along with Eastern St Catherine MP Denise Dalley, was also in attendance.

Lending passive support is one thing, but to be active and visible is a totally different thing.

Comrades will always support corruption and I tell you this stamping out this in Jamaica means firing the entire public sector and rehire folks based solely on qualification and experience  and not on party affiliation.

Drastic as it may sound, it is necessary as the PNP has successfully corrupted every single public sector institution and has place comrades operatives in key positions in these sectors, who in turn have employed “eat a food” people to complete the rot.

  1. The comment you made about PNP supporting corruption is true but I don’t see why you continue to single out only the PNP. Can’t you see that this is a tradition being carried out across the board.
Do you really think those on the other side are any better?

Your bias is boring and this kind of campaigning does your party no good.
It also speaks much of your integrity.

When you start to write truthfully and not politically biased, then we will see eye to eye

Come on man !!!!!!!! Do better than that man !!!!!!

    • Which party is in power ?
I speak about the actions of those in power today, much like I did in 2009 when the JLP was in power.

That is how it works Ivor, I am amazed at the way people seem to think.

When the JLP was in power people spoke and the media gave them hell, never once did I hear people saying we should be speaking about the PNP.

Now corruption is creating a rot with the PNP in power, I hear well the JLP corrupt too.

      HMM .
      I get you,misery loves company

      • And it goes the same for the economy. When Portia Simpson-Miller was in opposition she gave the then government hell about being wicked and uncaring. Now that the shoe is on the other foot I hear people now saying that if the JLP was in power things would still be the same.

I didn’t hear this when they were siding with the PNP hitting out against the JLP government. The simple fact is that comrades do not want anybody to criticize the PNP.

      • So predictable. Jay, yuh Tun up the ting now that the PNP is in power, calling for pretty much all elected PNP MP to resign. How come I haven’t heard anything from you on those two JLP Counselors that were getting double pay from the GOJ…an illegal act?

You have declare your total support for Audley Shaw, the same dunce that wrote all those bad cheques when he owned that Gas Station in Manchester. He even issued more bad cheques to cover previously bounced cheques. Then there is the issue of the government land that he surreptitiously incorporated into the Gas Station property and failed to compensate the GOJ for the seized property. So, not only are we not hearing your calls for resignations for your fellow JLP affiliates, you are supporting an unethically challenged senior member of the JLP. Total disingenuous Mr. JayJay Brown!

BTW, wasn’t the embattled Mayor of May Pen, Scean Barnswell the individual that brought to the forefront the problems at the Spauling Market with those wooden shops? It is strange that he is the only individual being victimized for an illegal act that he played no role in and was in fact the person that brought the issue into the public domain. So, instead of receiving praise for doing public good, he is now being punished. What a great country!!

        • Comrades always seem to miss the point. Do one bad and one good and the good should cover the bad, is that they way it should work test?

I would like Azan to have resigned as MP, the cabinet was the body which said Azan role in the affair was not that of state minister and by deduction, was in his capacity of MP.

Since that is so why did he not resign as MP since that was the capacity in which he did this illegal act, that would have paved the way for a by-election.

Comrades are corrupt to the core and are always seeking a way to deflect attention, but Jay will not be distracted.

I will expose every corrupt act by this administartion and expose them for what they are. The days of cover up are over

        • Get real Test, Jay is balanced, when the jlp was in power no one had a problem with criticising the party, therefore no one should have a problem when Jay bashes the pnp. Mr.Thwaites is no different from Audley Shaw, he has been engaged in so many scandals and yet he is still in parliament

    • I speak when there is something to speak about 🙂
      A quote from a comrade.
