The Office of Utilities Regulation (OUR) has confirmed that Azurest Cambridge failed to meet yesterday’s deadline to submit the $6.9 million in security bond for the 360 megawatt project.
The OUR said it will today proceed to offer the opportunity to provide base load generating capacity to the national grid to the second highest ranked bidder Energy World International (EWI).
EWI will also be given 15 days from today to provide its bid bond.
