Queen Counsel Roger Forde, who led the Barbados government defence in the case, was tight lipped in his response telling reporters he needed to study the judgement before giving his assessment.
But he added “you can travel without harassment, take a flight and go to Jamaica, Guyana and Trinidad and Tobago.”

That last sentence I suspect means, we don’t care what the CCJ rulings say, if you don’t want to be harassed go to those countries , don’t come here.
This means Barbados will not change is discriminating practices.

The people from Barbados for some reason or the other just do not like Jamaicans.
Ever since, they show that they have a grudgeful envious eye for Jamaicans.
It starts probably from us calling them small islanders along with other factors which they need to seriously talk out.
They feel better than Jamaican in particular and think we are worthless.
I realized little of this when I lived in Europe.
Shanique was bold, courageous and did us proud.
She has set a tone for all Jamaicans to benefit from.
She should be given a small rewarded on National Heroes Day for exposing this Big Elephant which has been in the room for such a long time left ignored.
This grudge and envy will be “tun up” because it is like they were born with this hatred in them and now have lost a case in shame (if they have any).
It really does not matter to me because I stay far far far from them and I for sure will never ever be so mad to put foot there in Barbados.
What matters is our relationship with them as CARICOM Member States.
If they don’t want to live up to their obligation as a CARICOM Member State, then no argument, the rest of CARICOM Member States must ensure that they either be asked to pack their bags or be sent packing from CARICOM.
If they continue to display their foolishness, then again no argument, we as Jamaicans must just cut ties with them, stop going there and leaving them alone in their own folly, so they can start doing the same to some other country which I am sure they have already been doing, just that their (Barbados’) luck has not yet ran out with the exposure of the Elephant in the room as far as these counties are concerned.
By the way Jay, how comes you have not congratulated the present Jamaican Government for the way in which they have represented and supported Shanique in this case?
I suppose you are just too biased against the present Jamaican Government and cannot say anything good about them even when we should tap they for carrying their obligation if it is even one little time.
I am putting it to you: It is a case of Barbados is to Shanique (Jamaicans) as the present Jamaican Government is to Jay?
Ansa me nuh bwoy…….
