PNPYO Wants Richard Azan Reinstated

The People’s National Party Youth Organisation (PNPYO) is calling for Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller to reinstate Richard Azan as junior minister for transport and works.

The call follows yesterday’s disclosure by the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) that there was no basis on which to charge Azan with conspiracy to defraud the Clarendon parish Council in relation to the Spaldings market affair.

PNPYO president, Alric Campbell says given the ruling of the DPP, Azan should be reinstated despite evidence of procedural breaches in the handling of the matter.

  1. Like I said, getting rid of corruption in Jamaica is going to be a very hard task, with people with thinking such as this group.

These are the next generation comrade leaders, but their minds are just as corrupt as the present set and so they will operate more or less the same.

I shudder to think of what Jamaica will be 10 yrs fro now if the PNP continues to ruin (run) this country.

    • Comrades are good people. Even former comrades like yourself. We are no better or worse than any laborites. Get over it, we will be in power for the next 20+ years. Jamaica is PNP country (fact).

Azan is a gret comrade and should be reinstated soon so that he can build more wooden shops for the fellow business minded comrades. Comrades for life a – dat mi sey.

    • Jay, what’s up man? I see you are on your same ole same ole. I have some questions for you since I see elsewhere that you are supporting Audley Shaw for leader. Did Audley try to capture government land when he took over the “old road” when he “tried” to run a gas station? Was he a squatter? Did he pay one red cent for utilizing state land for private use? http://jamaica-gleaner.com/gleaner/20080214/lead/lead1.html

Another thing, what is one of Shaw’s chief backers case before the courts in the west? Hmmm ???

  2. I guess Robert Rainford should be re-instated as Permanent Secretary, he did nothing criminally wrong. He was simply trying to help a fellow Jamaican who was in trouble.

His actions and intent were noble, so he should not have been fired, am I not right ?

  3. Whenever I say in this blog that there is no hope for this country, folks may say I am a pessimist. However, when the PNPYO makes such a call it is clear and convincing evidence that this country is doomed – what other future can be expected from youths who think this way now?

That PNPYO President is quite a piece of work – both visually and otherwise.
