JLP secretariat attempts to move up conference date as support for Shaw surges !

Imagine the JLP General Secretary sending an email to Audley Shaw to attend a meeting in Kingston, 1.5hrs before the meeting was due to be held, knowing fully well that Mr Shaw was in Christiana since yesterday as he tried to deal with the tragic loss of lives of 4 aspiring Holmwood students.

The meeting apparently was to discus moving up the date of the conference, but Shaw has hit back indicating he will have none of it and will not support any moving up of the date of the conference. He went unto accuse the General Secretary Horace Chang of failing to properly do his job in a tersely worded response to Horace Chang’s email.

Is Andrew Holness a coward and is the party secretariat taking sides vs trying to at least appear to be independent ?

Shaw definitely has gained a lot of ground during his island-wide consultation and there are fears that Holness is likely  to lose more and more ground the longer it takes to get the conference going.

Did Andrew say ” I welcome the challenge, bring it on” ?
