I am convinced now more than ever before that, the election victory by the PNP has ushered in a new type of lawlessness, which is even worse that the last time the PNP was in power.
As I travelled on the rd today, you look at three miles where the Taximen have captured the slip lane, which takes you from Spanishtown rd unto Hagley Pk rd.
As you get beyond that point you then run into the route taxis , which have captured the rd at the intersection of hagley pk rd and olympic way right in front of the scotia bank and the post office.
On the otherside of the three miles stop light going west along spanishtown rd in front of mussons, busmen and loader man have declared a seige on that area. They step out in front of you like traffic cops, stopping you, so they can drag passengers into waiting coasters or hiace.
Making your way into hwt, on south odean ave , the left most lane ie closest to the transport center is now a taxi stand where they drop off and pick up passengers.
At the large NCB bank in HWT taxi men have captured the lane right next to the bank as well as the one next to mandela park and its a nightmare trying to navigate through that area and any point during the day.
I honestly think our policemen and women are overwhelmed and have given up as these guys descend on every area and have declared war on law abiding citizens in their bid to eat a food.
I have never felt this afraid in during my entire adult life in Jamaica!
I am sure I am not alone

The very day I wrote this is the very day that stupid and reckless drivers took the life of 4 promising students.
What will it take to spur Jamaicans to positive action ?
When is enough really enough?
I shudder to think what Jamaica will be like in the next 10 years if the PNP should still be in power.
