Seems as if the PNP is hellbent on trying to corrupt every conceivable institution in Jamaica, but this time around the people of Jamaica are moving to ensure this does not happen.
Dr Thompson seems to be a man of integrity and choose to resign vs having the stench which follows the PNP attached to his name.
You have done the right thing sir, maybe the PNP will learn something from your actions.

This gentleman did the right thing. What is it that is impartial about the ECJ? It is made up of pnp and jlp members who look out for their own interests. I am yet to hear them tackle the issue of garrisons seriously. The simple solution is to redraw constituency boundaries ensuring that aspiring politicians have to actually earn their keep.
I am not sure what is going on with the Dr, but he surely seems to have been involved in some amount of controversy in recent time. Only just recently there was the US$1M donation.
Frankly speaking I believe the award is to the ECJ and I do not see anything wrong with either parties awarding the ECJ for work done in the country. If it was personal it would be another thing.
Yes he should have informed the other members but he said it was an oversight.
Hope these people signing letters will now ensure that the letter says exactly what it is meant. Can’t go about having persons tarnished because of your ineptitude.
