The above statement made by the Cabinet and issued by none other than the Office of the Prime Minister says it all. The Jamaican Cabinet said the error made my Azan was not in his capacity as State Minister . The interpretation of this could only mean one thing and that is Richard Azan acted in his capacity as Member of Parliament and NOT as an ordinary citizen.
Richard Azan therefore should have resigned as Member of Parliament for his role in the Spalding Market scandal, which would have meant that we would have automatically resigned as State Minister in the Ministry of Transport, Works and Housing.
The PNP is clever indeed but that sleight of the hands does not fool commonsenseja, after-all I look beyond the noise in search of other bits of information , which is not readily forthcoming.
Who will join commonsenseja in this call for the resignation of Richard Azan and Member of Parliament, which would pave the way for a by -election so a new Member of Parliament can be elected .
Is the Prime Minister of Jamaica the Honourable Portia Simpson Miller really serious about stamping out corruption. If the Prime Minister was serious she waould have called on Mr Azan to resign and Member of Parliament, which would have meant he would also give up his state Minister job.
Andrew, did you fall asleep here, how did you of all person miss this ?
Tsk, tsk, tsk,,,,, Maybe I should allow my name to be entered into the contest also. Lol lol 🙂

he was not elected by the PM as MP. The PM has no power to dismiss him as MP
You are missing the point, I never asked for the PM to dismiss him, I am asking for him to resign as MP. That is pretty straight forward.
