This week must be ranked as one on the worst for the 75 yr old PNP led by Portia Simpson Miller. The OCG issued two body blows to the party in those two damning report on Richard Azan and Phillip Paulwell and now just a few minutes ago, the Constitutional court says there is no hiding place for Portia Simpson Miller and members of her team.
The ruling means that members of the PNP, some whom form part of the current government, must answer questions in a court of law in the Trafigura scandal, whose ghost is once again upon the PNP .
The party is due to have its 75th annual conference this weekend and this will now be held under a cloud of controversy, that threatens the very foundation of this once credible institution.
Trafigura is now back to haunt the PNP.
