If Azurest is successful in finding the US$6.5M bid bond and thereafter find close to US$23M as security deposit and we have sign off, Jamaica could see itself having the largest floating power generation facility in the world.
The single largest floating power generation facility is a dual 171 MW generating facility that was built by Waller Marine and was commission into operation in Venezuela in 2011.
Waller Marine Inc received approval to build the project in October 2010 and was able to build the plant in the Texas facility, ship to and commissioned it into operation in Venezuela in 4/11/2011, that his just over 6 months !
The Jamaican plant is will be a bigger that the one built in Venezuela and may take a bit longer, but surely if they move at the same pace as what they did there, we should have that plant in Jamaica well before 2016, if work begins next year.

not the largest.. not combined cycle.. not in 6 months..
It was more speculation on my part given that we had no information from the OUR and taking a look at the recent projects Waller Marine had completed.
I am not sure what we err OUR asked for either in terms of how the plant should be delivered.
