I have made the point before that Jamaica is not yet ready for Andrew Holness type of transformational leadership. If Andrew Holness is to successfully change the way Jamaicans view politics and transform the Jamaican political landscape and the economy, he cannot do it as opposition leader.
Now if Andrew Holness he wants to be the young and transformational leader he claims to be , he cannot run against Portia and a strongly organized PNP and come out a winner using his currently “transformational leadership” style. He would have to play dirty and we do not want him to go there !
This is where Audley Shaw comes in, he can be cantankerous, boisterous, loud and aggressive and can appeal to grass root supporters and is the only one in the JLP right now who can match a Porta Simpson Miller and the rampant and dominant PNP, when it comes unto General Elections. The delegates in the party must forget the crap being spewed from the lips of many and look at the long-term viability of the party and do what is necessary to ensure that Jamaican suffer no more at the hands to the PNP .
The delegates must move to elect someone who can run a election campaign , Jamaican style and defeat Portia, PJ Patterson and the PNP and Mr Transformational Leader Andrew Holness cannot do this and retain the title of new,different and transformational.
The JLP must become more strategic in it’s thinking if it intends to lead this country once again, they must stop trying to stop the Audley challenge, which though on the face of it, may seem like it’s dissing the leader, will in fact help Andrew, the JLP and Jamaica.
The delegates must go out and give their full support to Audley Shaw, you must give Audley your support if you really want to see the transformation of the Jamaican economy and the political landscape. At the same time Andrew need to become more strategic in his thinking as the only way we can see him lead this country is if Audley is elected JLP leader come November and he Andrew should give Audley his full support, after his Andrew’s election defeat.
Here is how the play is setup. Sometimes in the game you cannot do down the middle of the field, so you pass the ball to the wing, move downfield, collect pass as it comes back across the goal and slot it home thus scoring .
So Audley becomes JLP come November 2013 and by January 2014 begins to whip up support for the JLP true Jamaican style. He will take the politics to the grass root supporters and make dormant labourites want to become active labourites again. Audley will match Portia step by step and challenge her in Parliament on the areas of the economy , crime etc etc. I can see him disrupting the active PNP propaganda machine and speak to the Jamaican people as only Audley can, warning them about the samfie PNP policies
As the campaign begins I can see Audley fighting the dirty fight (if there is one) and taking in to Portia and the massive PNP election machinery. I can see him explaining how they, the JLP was able to bring about stability in the dollar, reduce interest rates, keep crime under control and the many plans that were created, which were taken over by the PNP renamed and presented as original ideas. I can see him telling Jamaicans how the last time Portia and the PNP promised 10,000 jobs via Jeep and 40,000 jobs via Jamaica employ and those all failed to provide jobs, thus pushing unemployment to record highs.
Now once Audley has lead the JLP to an election victory over the PNP, he can serve 2-3 yrs out of the 5 years after-which Andrew Holness can be “anointed” JLP leader, after which he can seek his own mandate no contest and begins working on true transformation of our politics and the Jamaican economy.
Alternatively Audley may choose to serve out his first term, win once again and shortly thereafter resign and retires and hand over the reigns to Andrew Holness, who by now would have had over 5 years to bring about transformation as deputy leader, then move to lead the country for 4 yrs before seeking his own mandate on a record of transformation and economic growth in Jamaica.
That my fellow bloggers is the power play that seems to keep eluding the JLP and its leadership and will be shared to as many labourites who I can get to listen between now and November
The JLP must become more strategic in its thinking and KISS. Keep it Simple Stupid.

As I keep on telling you, your negative comments about the PNP will not work as you use every living thing as basis to express how bad the PNP is.
Up to now, I never hear you comment anything negative about the JLP.
Only the PNP is atrocoius. Stop using your BLOG as a campaign tool against atrocious PNP and try to campaign in favour of little “angelic” JLP. You have become so boring simply because your bias is so unnatural. Keep the JLP dictatorship appointment stiyle leadership versus democracy problem to themselves because well thinking Jamaicans heve seen what they are all about from this their internal fracass. You dont write about this. OK Mr. BOGG.
I read you Blog first when you were real, now you seem to be getting some favours from the JLP to be always against PNP and paint this rosy picture about the JLP who defended this crimminal in 2010 …. etc. and you never write against this.
Ia m not writing against the JLP and I am not defending the PNP. All I am saying is your bias makes this Blog very unpopular, will become infamous and only make people know you are a political tool for the JLP and may undecided voters will swing to the PNP as they will feel tricked by your constant unatural nature.
Do you want to bet that your BLOG will go instead in favour of the PNP and that JLP will always be in the defeat at the pollls for another 181818 years, always sucking landslide defeats?
