The news of the shortage of chicken back has been a source of much discussion on the local scene for over a mth, with various reasons being offered for the shortage. In one piece that I wrote, I suggested that local manufactures bring chicken back to the market to ease the shortage. Well it appears that someone has taken up that call as I was able to see chicken back in one super market proudly displaying the ” Product of Jamaica” sign. On closer inspection of the content of the bag I was shocked at what I saw and decided to purchase a pack of the commodity and then provide you guys with an insight into what this “producer” has offered or is offering poor Jamaicans as a source of protein.
I believe the pictures speak for itself and makes me wonder who on earth this producer is , because he needs to be exposed, unfortunately during my investigations I was unable to determine who those folks are.

Note there is absolutely no meat on the product, in fact the pieces are sections of breast from which every morsel of meat has been surgically removed, leaving cartilage and bones behind, shocking indeed.
