Will USA give up Goat Island lease to facilitate Chinese Investment ?

This is the big question now being asked in my circles , given the most recent development of the existence of a 99 yr lease between the UK Government and the USA government under what was known as the “lend lease agreement of 1940”.

The General feeling is that to slowdown the China invasion the USA could seek to keep the lease until expiration in 2039.

The other questions is,  did Robert “Non Performing” Pickersgill know about the existence of this agreement and if so when. If not, why was he not aware.

For the environmental group, this area was used by the USA as some sort of a Naval base up 1949, are we sure there are no ordinates on the island and what checks have been done to confirm same.

It definitely was a protected area up to 1949 . 🙂
