JLP’s energy being wasted !

The JLP who is opposition has been silent and in doing so has allowed the PNP to wreck this country to the point where I am not sure it can recovery, has suddenly found its voice.

I am amazed at the high energy levels that I did not know the JLP had ,after suffering two crushing elections defeats at the hands of the PNP, but now I am fully aware that energy is there. The big problem I am having with the JLP is they have chosen to direct all this high level of energy and testosterone at each other vs the people who are “mashing” up the country, oh what a dysfunctional bunch of labourites.

At a time when the PNP is failing in every respect, the JLP seems ready, ably assisted by the media , to spill the “blood” of each other as they try to prevent Holness the “ordained” one from being challenged by Audley Shaw.

No internal election should evoke this level of “attacks” on fellow party folks, while the people to whom it should have been directed at, moves to stroke the fire, which could  result in the party (JLP) imploding.

Andrew Holness is weak and is not a good leader. Good leader does not sit idly by and allow supporters to attack each other, the way Andrew did recently, but I guess that just his “style”.

What I can say , the campaign has not yet commenced and the JLP is wasting all that energy on itself vs the Government of the day.

The party should instead use the opportunity now to speak to the people of Jamaica, expand its base,  tell us why Audley or Holness is the best person to lead the party and will be the better ones to rescue the ship called Jamaica from people who have no idea what they are doing.

Can the JLP do that, I don’t think so, due to the very poor leadership that exist  at the top.

I hope they surprise me and the rest of us who wants better for Jamaica.
