Portia Simpson Miller should pack her bags and go !

If the Prime Minister was leading any Private Sector organization, she would have been fired a long time ago.

The media in particular  the  Jamaica  Gleaner keep asking the PM to perform a task she is incapable of doing and that is leading with distinction.
Its high time the media stop being nice, stop skirting the real issue and demand that the Prime Minister step aside and turn over leadership to someone with a greater level of competence.

We MUST stop living this GRAND lie and stop deceiving the public. Its time to end the charade and call for the PM to pack her bags and go.

We must demand an end to mediocrity and rush to embrace accountability !

The media should be the one leading this charge, but sadly they have dropped the ball, leaving it up to social media to do the work.

  1. They would have fired the entire team. As a matter of fact very few if any of them would have gotten the private sector job.

  2. “But how can you criticize a woman who has come from the bowels of poverty to become the first female prime minister”. That is the constant cry PNP automatons, better known as comrades. For them PSM is beyond criticism.

    • … And she has riden on this donkey and the backs of the poor to attain her own personal agenda.

What amazes me is how many persons still believes she cares about the poor.

I will say this, Jamaicans are way to inclined to believe crap as long as its has ” we are about helping d poor”.

People still believe Carlos Hill and David Smith were about helping the poor.
People believed they could make over 200% per annum compounded (10% per mthy.

People still believe that despite sayiing for over 30yrs and despite nothing tangible to show for it Portia still cares about the poor.

      I tell you this.
Run a add which says you can get people job overseas and all you need to pay is $10k and see if you don’t make a million dollars in no time.

Better yet, let the word go around that you have links at the embassy and u can get visa for only 50 gran and then ask for brinks to come escort all the money you would make.

My point : Jamaicans are suckers for crap !

      • Portia Simpson Miller is only interested in power. When she lost the 2007 general election she did not concede and when she was re-elected she hired a number of irrelevant consultants who are being paid over 250 million dollars. Portia did not support the previous administration, therefore she should not expect Mr. Holness to support her when she has no interest in reform

  3. The electorate decided twice already. respect democracy. the PSM has gotten her mandate. if you want to see her go, go and campaign at Cassia Park , but do not try to evict her by the media

    • Cull,
I thought that was exactly what PSM did during the last administration.
She said ” I will be your (meaning us) worst nightmare”.

She was relentless in her persuit of power after being rejected at the polls.

Now her incompetence is on display and people would like to pretend that all is well.

      Really now ?

    • Get a hold of yourself. Nobody is above criticism! It is this business of “respecting” our politicians that have caused them to think they are our masters rather than our servants.

Cut out the nonsense about “sabotage” and “character assassination”.

The Gleaner is right: PSM is squandering her unique opportunity to rally the people towards self-empowerment.

Do you realize that Jamaica is becoming one big, complete ghetto? Of course, all the blame is not PSM’s, but she is at the wheel and is doing nothing to take us back from the brink.

  4. Once the electorate has decided the rest of the country should not be critical of the Prime Minister. Hmm I get it.
Its democratic to get her elected by undemocratic to hold her accountable once she has been elected.

Its no wonder this country cannot move forward. You elect someone and no matter how poorly they perform, the country should grin and bear it for 5 yrs.

I wonder what would have happened in the world if everyone including our fore-parents has taken this kind of approach.

    • you have been critical from day one. checks and balances should be in place, but once we elect a leader , all hands should be on deck in the interest of jamaica. not undermining, scheming and sabotage.

She is the leader of the country, all hands on deck. there can be leadership challenges the the next PNP party conference if you feel that she not up to it.

but outside of that, give support instead of sabatoge

      • Sabotage?
Please define that for our bloggers , we would like to her how our efforts to expose this weak and incompetent PM comes off as sabotage.

Truth be told Portia has way more support than the previous administration ever had, so let’s just drop the sabotage crap !

  5. Character assassination, remarks about her competence. respect must be shown to the fact that the people have spoken by giving her an overwhelming mandate. you seem like you cannot accept that fact !!!

PSM is the PM of Jamaica via a democratic process. accept it. celebrate it.

    • Character Assassination are you kidding me?

Who called a former PM – Enemy of the state, Pathologically mendacious. Those my friend are character assassination.

On the other had the term incompetence is directed at performance of the incumbent and has nothing to do with her characters, see the difference ?

The fact that she was given ” an overwhelming mandate” but mostly delusion “eat a food voters” does not mean a mistake was not made, in fact the majority have been proven to be wrong before.

That aside PSM is the PM of Jamaica but unfortunately while I will have no choice to accept that, I have seen nothing to celebrate, unlike you who appears to be very happy with the direction that the country is heading.

Cheers, lets keep on celebrating mediocrity .
Ops did I real say that ( sarcasm)

  6. Funny how it is now all hands must be on deck to support the comrade leader while previously it was nightmares. No amount of nationalistic statements is going to escape this glaring contradiction of mindset. That is to create havoc while in opposition and then seek support when in government.

    • we do not seek to keep repeating the same mistakes, but to learn from the past. lead also not by micro managing, but by delegation. not being confrontional but conciliatory. Play to your strenghts.

That is the new paradigm that we should strive to move to. but most are still tribal in thinking.

for me PSM represents the hope, the vision, that ANYONE can make it to the top by hard work , dedication and a fixity of purpose. She is a role model to be celebrated instead of going on a fault finding mission.

      • Its not only about getting to the top, its what you do to help other while you are there.
That is the missing component. As I said yesterday PAM is contended just to have gotten to the top, which will do her no justice when the history on her is written.

  7. The “presstitutes” sing for their supper as well as most of the commentators and analysts. Dennis Chung is an exception. Do not expect them to lead the transformation or the revolution. They generally shift with the wind.

  8. The comrade leader and her team is beyond reproach. They do not support anything if they are not in control but once they are there we have to change how things use to be and give them all the support. PM and the partnership in 2011, Roger and the cassava and chip in animals are perfect examples.

But Jamaicans are in love with sistah P/mama, so they will even go down to hell with her if that is where she intends to take them. (mind you I love the lady myself) Reminds me of David Koresh and the other fanatics. SMH!
