Crime has risen to what appears to be unprecedented levels here in Jamaica and no one is spared not even the deaf or the dead. Thieves are running rampant across the country stealing everything in sight and the security forces seems completely helpless in dealing with what is now an epidemic. Farmers are suffering, house holders are suffering, schools, churches and business are all suffering under the relentless attack by thieves who are moving across the country with impunity.
The Minister of National Security continues to live in denial, wanting us to believe that crimes are trending down, but I guess that must be in the area where he lives as I am not seeing what he is seeing.
When the PNP said ” tun up d ting” never in my wildest dream did I believe this is what they meant, but sadly the evidence of the absence of the rule law and order seems to be synonymous, with the PNP administration, given that crimes has always risen under a PNP government.
I beg Portia Simpson Miller and her team to ” tun dung d ting” because we simply cannot take anymore, we are close to the breaking point !
