I will support the JFJ over the yapping Minister Lisa Hanna any day and I must say I agree wholeheartedly with the online petition made by the JFJ on the behalf of the Jamaica children.
Lisa Hanna since becoming minister, under which protection of children falls has not done a damn thing to advance the welfare of the Jamaica children. This minister has conducted more audits than Price Waterhouse Coopers and today we cannot see a single piece of legislation that has been passed or anything tangible to aid and protect the Jamaican children.
Lisa has conducted audits, done reviews, setup all kinds of committees and conduct studies, while indicating what needs to be done, but has not done anything concrete for the Jamaica children.
She is OUT OF ORDER when she went off ( literally) cursing the JFJ, while accusing the group of opposing everything, intellectual dishonesty and seeking to malign and tarnish Jamaica’s reputation on the international scene .
She further added that the abuse of the Jamaica kids which were highlighted to or referenced in the video, occurred during the rule of the previous administration and not under this present administration and as such the information was factually incorrect in terms of recency. Who gives a rat’s ass !
Now I almost fell off my chair when I heard the rubbish coming from the lips of a government minister and said, speaking about intellectual dishonesty, well she epitomizes that one.
I know we have short memories so let me remind Jamaicans that is was just last week Peter Bunting the Minister of National Security was featured in a documentary, where he said Dudus had taken control of the running of the country and was (literally )calling the shots ( no pun intended). He further went on to say that the Attorney Generals office was at the services of Dudus every step of the way and corruptly sought to lend support to Dudus in order to frustrate the USA.
Lisa Hanna and her colleagues expressed full support to Peter Bunting and suggested that his statements did NOTHING to damage the reputation of Jamaica on the international scene and Mr Bunting did not say anything that was not true.
Now speaking about recency and intellectual dishonesty, one can therefore ask, what is the difference between what Mr Bunting did and what JFJ is now doing?
Has JFJ said anything that is factually incorrect ?
Lisa, we are NOT fools, well certainly I am not, I listen to you guys very carefully and I am able to understand what is being said without the need for anyone to interpret anything for me and I must say I found your attack on the JFJ not only offensive but also design to derail its efforts.
Lisa if you could be honest with yourself and the country( I know being a true comrade is more important than being honest), you would indeed acknowledge that you have failed thus far and would take this opportunity to begin taking action to protect our kids.
Your barefaced attack on the JFJ was designed to protect the PNP and not the image of Jamaica or its kids and that is truly sad.
JFJ I support you and have already signed the petition, its time we demand action and not a bag a mouth !

Sadly the evidence exists to support JFJ’s position. If only these politicians would leave their egos at home and focus on the real issues. As i expected, there is little new and different about these “youthful” ones.
Miss Hanna is operating from PJ’s playbook. When a situation arises do the following:
1. Announce the formation of a committee/taskforce to look into the situation.
2. Keep quiet about the progress or supposedly progress of this committee/taskforce.
3. Hope that (and probably will) the media will not do follow ups on this situation.
4. Months later announce the findings of this committee/taskforce and an indefinite timeline to its implementation (which most likely will never be).

A female friend said to me on Friday, Jay how come the Minister responsible for children could not even keep her own child, which was taken away by the courts and custody handed over to the father.
Is that not an indictment on this minister and what message does this send as it relates to her ability to do a good job, with kids that are not even hers?
I was left speechless and at a loss for words, it was a very profound statement.
