The general consensus is the JLP is NOT currently a viable opposition and will not be until the testosterone levels of those vying for leadership, is lowered thus allowing the party to unite around a single leader.
There is a sense of divisiveness in the party, which has not allowed the party the breathing space it requires to be a successful party and if this is not change in a hurry, will relegate this bunch of egoistic testosterone laded men to the role of perennial opposition.
The PNP has done a horrible job in leadership every time they have been handed that mandate by the people, but the JLP has not sold itself to the people of Jamaica as the party, best suited to lead the country from the mismanagement of varying PNP administration.
This is so sad and one wonders, when the JLP will change its imagine and when the PNP will ever become good stewards of this country.
Whichever way we choose to look at it right now, we corner dark.
Who is power is incompetent to lead and who is in opposition has no leader and not yet ready for leadership.
The JLP has exactly 18 months to get it right in terms of being a viable and I doubt the PNP will ever get it right in terms on putting Jamaica on a growth path.
