No increases to parlimentarians ” we just honoured the previous agreements”

Horace Daley in answering the questions posed by Robert Montague has blasted the senator for creating mischief and calling the questions “political” in nature. I wondered if this was not a joke given that most things said in the house is political in nature.

Mr Daley, went unto to indicate that the 7% that was due to public sector workers was being  honoured as per agreement by the then JLP government  and these are the payments which are now being paid as “one off ” payments over a 2 yr period, which began in 2012.

So folks parliamentarians were NOT given an increase instead they are being paid money that was agreed on by the former JLP government and the PNP government did not want to BREACH this agreement.

Jamaican politicians are the simply the BEST !

  1. PNP members must be very happy that the majority of their rabid supporters are largely under educated and as such are not able to understand what is said in the house most of the time.

PNP members must also be very happy that those who are educated comrades have done a wonderful in interpreting what is being said to the people, who are unable to understand the information themselves.

The Minister of education has no issues breaching an agreement signed between the teachers and the MOF, after-all we have no money to keep paying these teachers all kinds of stuff.

Another government Minister , Horace Daley, cannot sit by and not honour an agreement signed 2 years ago to pay himself and other parliamentarians more money , because that would represent a breach of that agreement !

Oh we have to honour it, its not our fault, its the JLP who signed that agreement.

Absolutely brilliant shift, Horace, you have successfully passed the last line of defence ie the goal keeper (the people) and has scored a stupendous goaaalllll !

Where is the goal keeper ?

Oh, he is in a state of shock at that the wonderful dribbling skills of the minister, who shifted the players in one direction while moving skillfully towards the goal.

The people applauded not realizing its an own goal.
