It is patently clear to even the blind that PSM and other members of her cabinet are in way over their heads as it relates to governance of Jamaica and she should set the tone by stepping aside and ride off into the sunset.
Mrs Portia Simpson -Miller clearly cannot handle the job she fought so hard for and should do the patriotic thing for her country, by stepping aside and allowing someone more competent to lead the charge.
Following her out should be the following ministers:
- Robert Pickersgill
- Omar Davis
- AJ Nicolson
- Roger Clarke
I hope the New Prime Minister will shift Peter Bunting to Investment and Commerce, move Anthony Hylton for Foreign Affairs, Julian Robinson to National Security and promote a junior minister to the Ministry of Agriculture and Transport and Works.
This I believe will Jamaica a fighting chance to survive.

I have been saying this for a long time. Portia does understand what leadership is about. Leadership is about organizing people around a common objective; not abdicating responsibility
I do not think that Investment and Commerce should be handled by any politician. As we have seen, policies change based on who finances which party. We need to look at guys like Aubyn Hill who have “earned” their way, have broad backs and are willing to do what is in the best interest of Jamaica. The names you mentioned, i agree, are stale loaves of bread that are still on the shelf. We need to be vigilant “shopkeepers”. They need to be “dumped”!!
But who should replace her as PNP leader? Julian Robinson and Peter Bunting would be my picks.
Davis said ” I was wrong” ( Decided to use we instead).
I am sure Test will say Dr Davis was wrong to say he was wrong.
